Targeted Technology Training and Coaching that Builds Capacity to Serve the Community
HandsOn Tech at L.A. Works, in partnership with Google, is a program that seeks to provide free technology trainings and coaching to nonprofits. AmeriCorps VISTAs placed in eight cities will engage skilled volunteers to provide a series of one-time workshops on technology topics for nonprofits, as well as more in-depth coaching and implementation for nonprofits interested in integrating more specialized projects.
Getting Started
All nonprofits interested in taking part in the HandsOn Tech program offerings should fill out a brief technology needs assessment about your organization’s current IT capacity. This assessment will help us determine how best to design a technology training program that fits your needs and helps build your organization's capacity to serve the community. It will also help us determine eligibility for our in-depth, individualized technology assessment and coaching program. You can also copy and paste the needs assessment URL into a new browser:

Beginning in late January, HandsOn Tech LA (HOTLA) will offer a schedule of technology workshops for nonprofit professionals designed to dramatically increase the efficiency and effectiveness of your programs.
