L.A. Works' RSVP opportunities are specifically designed for active boomers who want to make a lasting impact on the Los Angeles community.

MENTOR A FAMILY ORIENTATION: FEB. 28th 
Promoted Partner Event 
Join us for a special one-stop-shop orientation and training event reserved just for our RSVP members. Attendees will complete an application, undergo a brief interview and participate in an accelerated training. CLICK HERE

BUILD CAPACITY, CLOSE THE GAP: MAR. 13th
Promoted Partner Event

Our partner organization, Jumpstart, needs help to builds its capacity. Participate in an orientation and interview for capacity building roles in recruitment, advisory commitee, research, and/or volunteer coach. CLICK HERE


HEALTHY MEAL PREP WITH FORMER FOSTER YOUTH: MAR. 8th 
Work alongside those transitioning out of foster care to prepare reclaimed produce that will be transformed into nutritious meals and snacks for charitable partners that serve Los Angeles’ aging, low­ income, and homeless populations. CLICK HERE


HABITAT FOR HUMANITY RESTORE: MAR. 15th 
The ReStore needs help with a wide variety of tasks including light construction, donation pickup and sorting, customer service and greeting. CLICK HERE

NATIVE PLANT GARDENING: MAR. 17th  

Help collect seeds, tend to seedlings in the nursery, and plant and maintain various sites around the park. CLICK HERE

BRING THE ARTS BACK TO SCHOOL: MAR. 21

Evening Event

Help P.S. Arts host one of their fun family art nights by setting up, distributing materials, cleaning up and simply having a good time bonding with their art facilitators and local families CLICK HERE
