Description:

Housing Corporation of America (HCA) is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) that provides affordable housing and quality social services to low-income residents at apartment complexes in four states. The vast majority of HCA’s residents are of income levels ranging from 40% to 60% of median income. In order to meet their housing needs, these properties are developed using federal funding sources with rents regulated through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In many instances, these lower rents result in property income that produces minimal cash flow after operating costs. In order to address this, HCA works to establish productive, working relationships with other non-profit and service organizations to provide educational and social services to our residents.
