Agency: CONNECT Program West Hollywood Comprehensive Service Center/JFS

Description: CONNECT Program West Hollywood Comprehensive Service Center connects volunteers with West Hollywood seniors and adults with disabilities to meet their compelling needs for companionship and transportation.

Program: Our program assists seniors and adults with disabilities with everyday activities that have become more difficult due to challenges with transportation, navigating stairs and carrying packages.

Volunteer Role & Responsibilities: Volunteers are needed to help participants with basic activities like getting to the market, doctors appointments and running errands. Volunteers also offer companionship to seniors who are often lack meaningful personal connections.

Requirements: Volunteers must be 21 years of age. The program social worker provides a screening of all participants.

Time Commitment: Flexibility in time commitment and scheduling.
