Description:
We Connect Los Angeles 2010 is designed to assist low-income families become more financially secure by connecting them to important services and resources. The three-day event is expected to serve over 10,000 individuals and families. Volunteers will be critical to making this ambitious event a success. Volunteers will: - Assist with event logistics such as parking and set-up
- Distribute food donations
- Engage children who attend with their families, and
- Provide assistance with the Web Connecter, an online tool that connects families to information and services.
Age Requirement: Volunteers for this project must be at least 18 years of age.
Special Note: Bilingual (English-Spanish; English-Chinese; English-Korean) volunteers are especially needed.
