Every Monday & Tuesday evening L.A. Works volunteers help prepare and serve the evening meal at Union Rescue Mission.
Union Rescue Mission is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the poor and homeless by providing a comprehensive array of emergency and long-term services.
Special Note: You must sign in at the front reception desk upon arriving for your assigned shift before proceeding to the kitchen area.
URM policy prohibits the following: shorts, mini skirts, midriffs, tank tops, sleveless tops, tight or see-through clothing, sandals, open-toed shoes and dangling earrings. No cameras allowed.
Age Requirement: Volunteers for this project must be at least 13 years of age.
Minors: Any volunteer under the age of 18 will need to bring and have signed by a parent/guardian a Volunteer Agreement & Release for Minors.
