Description:
These youngsters' smiling faces will let you know how much they appreciate and enjoy the time you spend with them. Gramercy Place Shelter is a temporary shelter that attempts to break its residents from the cycle of homelessness through programs in life skills, vocational training, support group identification and job placement.
Volunteers for this project must be at least 8 years of age. Pre-teens must be accompanied by a parent.
Before signing up for this project by clicking on "Sign up for this project", any volunteer under the age of 18 will also need to print out a minor release form for this project. The volunteer's parent or guardian must sign it. Click here to download our Volunteer Agreement & Release for Minor Child. Bring the completed form with you to the project.
Federal Law prohibits volunteers under the age of 13 from registering on-line. To register family members who are under the age of 13, contact the project leader directly.
