| Pumpkin Patch and Halloween Festival |
Agency: L.A. Works
Description:
L.A. Works' Community Pumpkin Patch Project will be a fun,family-friendly fundraising event that brings together members of Brentwood and its surrounding community in support of City Year, Rock the Classroom, Archer School, and L.A. Works. The pumpkin patch will provide an opportunity for children and their families to enjoy a fun afternoon together, for valuable nonprofit organizations to share their mission and work with a new audience, and to raise funds for these organizations. Activities for the day include carnival games, pumpkins, refreshment, live entertainment, and a community service project. The participants will leave the park with a pumpkin in-hand as a ‘thank you' gift for their contribution.
We are looking for volunteers to help throughout the event -- run the carnival games, help with activities with kids like pumpkin decorating, and more! (Do you want to create a fortune teller's booth? Maybe you are a henna artist? If you have a special skill or hobby that you think would add to the festivities for the day, please let us know!)
Sign up to get involved AND/OR bring your family out for this fun event and support some great nonprofit organizations!
