Description:
The Wilshire Vista Heights Association as part of the PICO Neighborhood Council has coordinated to plant 53 new street trees for shade and beautification near Pico Blvd between Cochran Ave and Hauser Ave. This is a great opportunity to meet and work with the PICO NC, the Korean Youth Community Center (kyccla.org), the TreePeople and our local association. Learn about how to plant a tree correctly, care for them and general forestry knowledge. Any help in carrying tools, assisting other volunteers and planting trees.
