Description:
Do you love kids? Do you believe that all kids deserve access to the tools they need to become productive, self-sufficient adult members of our society? If your answer is YES, the Banking on Our Future program is for YOU!
Educate & Empower Students in Financial Literacy at Peary Middle School!
On Friday, November 6th, volunteer to empower and help Operation HOPE educate 700 6th Grade students at Peary Middle School in Gardena, on basic financial literacy concepts.
With the help of our fun and engaging classroom materials, you’ll teach students about the fundamentals of personal dignity through concepts such as: budgeting, checking and savings accounts, credit and investments. On November 6th all 4 one-hour modules will be presented by YOU to your classroom of eager and excited 6th grade students, beginning at 8am, and ending at 12:40pm, with a lunch break between 11:00am to 11:40am.
Never taught in a classroom before? Don’t worry! Training and materials are provided in advance of your commitment.
Don’t hesitate! Volunteer to be a part of a program that has touched over 400,000 lives since 1996 in 16 US markets and 3 in cities in South Africa. Our kids need hero’s, our kids need YOU!
