Dancing @ BCR

Description:

On the second Friday of every month, L.A. Works volunteers come in good spirits and ready to get out on the dance floor with participants from BCR. Volunteers also assist with set-up and serving drinks and food.

BCR is a nonprofit organization that offers day programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Its mission is to enable its participants to develop their abilities so they may become independent and contributing members of the community.

June 11: “Grand Finale Gala”

Give a Day, Get a Disney Day: Volunteers who participate in this opportunity are eligible to earn a free ticket to a Disney theme park; however, the only way to receive a ticket is to sign up for this project through www.disneyparks.com.

Age Requirement: Volunteers for this project must be at least 16 years of age.

Minors: Any volunteer under the age of 18 will need to bring and have signed by a parent/guardian a Volunteer Agreement & Release for Minors.
