| Lifting Teen Spirits @ Angel's Flight |
Agency: Angel's Flight
Description:
Twice monthly, L.A. Works volunteers visit Angel's Flight and engage their teens in creative and positive activities. Whether working together on an arts & crafts project, participating in a dance contest, playing Pictionary or charades or just having a good conversation, our goal is to brighten the teens' spirits by encouraging them to creatively express themselves and have a fun time.
Angel's Flight offers refuge to runaway teens, most of whom are fleeing abusive families. The program includes a drop-in center and an outreach component, reaching at least 3,000 adolescents each year.
