Description:
Once a month, L.A. Works volunteers support the staff at Alexandria House in maintaining a safe and positive environment for the woman and children living there. Volunteers help with gardening, organizing the garage, cleaning the kitchen, sorting food and clothing, and preparing activities for neighborhood events.
Alexandria House is a non-profit transitional residence providing safe and supportive housing for women and children in the process of moving from emergency shelter to permanent housing.
Age Requirement: Volunteers for this project must be at least 18 years of age.
