Description:
Once a month, L.A. Works volunteers come out to help maintain TreePeople Park, a 45-acre area that thousands of Los Angeles-area students visit every year to take part in environmental educational programs. Volunteers help maintain trails, remove invasive plants, re-grade slopes and tend the nursery.
TreePeople is an environmental nonprofit that unites the power of trees, people and technology to grow a sustainable future for Los Angeles.
Special Note: This is a physically demanding project. This project will occur rain or shine.
Age Requirement: Volunteers for this project must be at least 14 years of age.
Minors: Any volunteer under the age of 18 will need to bring and have signed by a parent/guardian a Volunteer Agreement & Release for Minors.
