L.A. Works produces a number of Special Events each year.
In addition to the daily projects featured on our Project Calender, each year L.A. Works produces a number of special events - high profile, community-wide projects - that can involve thousands of volunteers!
These events range from large-scale Group Actions Projects (GAPs), like the "United We Stand," interfaith project in remembrance of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, to our annual serve-a-thon fundraiser -- L.A. Works Day.
