Sanrio partnered with L.A. Works two years running. First to make L.A. Works the sole charitable partner for Hello Kitty's Three Apples, an exhibition and celebration in honor of SANRIO's Hello Kitty's 35th Anniversary. Again, in honor of Sanrio's 50th, L.A. Works was the charitable partner as a part of the Small Gift extravaganza at the Barker Hanger.
Wines from Spain partnered with L.A. Works for the 17th annual Great Match: Vivacious Varietals.Tantalizing Tastes tasting tour. Eight of the Los Angeles-area's most notable restaurants, including THE BAZAAR at SLS by José Andrés, Ciudad by Jeremy D Tummel, and Vinoteque by KC Ma on Melrose, prepared signature tapas designed to show the versatility of Spanish wines with many styles of cuisine. Guests had the opportunity to taste more than 130 current release wines, highlighting Spain's indigenous varietals. And the sweetest part? Ticket proceeds from the Great Match benefited L.A. Works!
Kehellat Israel partnered with L.A. Works to create a weekend volunteer retreat experience for their youth members.
As a part of the 2010 Make a Difference Weekend, L.A. Works coordinated hundreds of volunteers for the Modern House Call for Women, an event which provided physical and mental care for thousands of uninsured or underinsured women.
