Social distancing can be social caring

Nonprofits still need your help!

Practicing social distancing doesn’t need to mean you have to stop your service to the community. Our nonprofit partners still, and in some cases more critically than ever, depend on volunteer support to fulfill their missions. While your health and that of the individuals you serve is our top priority, we want to make sure you know how we can all come together (figuratively!) to continue to serve Los Angeles.

Before deciding to volunteer, make sure this doesn’t apply to you:
  • Do you feel under the weather or have you been around anyone who appears sick?
  • Do you belong to the vulnerable portion of the population that could get sick?
NO? Great! Then click here to find a volunteer opportunity / Or click here to check out alternative virtual volunteering options
