Quick Overview: Be matched one-on-one with folks experiencing homelessness to guide them through a service connect day.
Impact: Homeless Connect Days help provide free services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, to connect them to services and provide a holistic approach to ending homelessness.
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: Participate in conversation/bonding with clients, manage clothing donations, manage coat/bag check, navigate clients to service providers (correct tables), and generally create a positive and nurturing environment for clients (we’re looking into board games and potential art opportunities).
Requirements: Mentors must be over the age of 18. Must be interested in being engaged around homelessness services.
Actual event is from 10:00am - 2:00pm
Volunteers needed from 9:00am-3:00pm
