Jake's Ladder is a 5k community walk/run aimed at raising awareness and funds to support emerging cystic fibrosis research.
The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: This event will take place at the Commons at Calabasas and we will be utilizing the outdoor space near the turtle pond. We need volunteers to assist in event set up/ tear down, participant registration, and managing the food booth.
Age Requirements: Volunteers can be as young as 14 if volunteering with parent, or 16 and over if volunteering alone.
Additional Details: Attire is casual or athletic. Be sure to dress in layers as it can be cold in the morning. Please wear close-toed shoes for safety. If you would like to volunteer, but cannot make the entire time listed, please let me know as we could still use your help!
