Organization Name and Mission: Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy www.pvplc.org, The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."

Program Description: Join hundreds of members of the community and help care for the White Point Native Plant Demonstration Garden! We will be planting native shrubs, removing invasive weeds, watering native plants, grooming trails and more! Your efforts will help restore this habitat for wildlife as well as create a beautiful place for the community to enjoy! Plus fun children art activities, music performances and a guided nature walk!

Impact: The habitat restoration you will take part in directly benefits local wildlife and will make our oceanside preserve more resilient to runoff, pollution, and drought.

Requirements: We will be working outdoors, so please wear closed-toed shoes, sun protection and be sure to bring drinking water in a reuseable water bottle. Volunteer hour verification letters available for school credit if needed.
* Any volunteer under the age of 18 will need to bring and have signed by a parent/guardian a Volunteer Agreement & Release for Minors. The form can be found on L.A. Works website Q&A section.
