Event Description: On Monday, April 1st, join the L.A. Works RSVP Team to beautify a Title I high school in East LA. Title I schools have a high proportion of low-income students, and can always use some extra help. This special Day of Service is intended to honor the legacy of Cesar Chavez and inspire a culture of service in the local community. The event will include light breakfast, lunch and painting activity.
Volunteer Project: Volunteers will participate in a special mural project to honor Cesar Chavez.
Check-in: Please arrive at 8:30 am.
Dress Code: Casual attire and sneakers (sturdy closed-toe shoes). Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Wear sunscreen, a hat and bring your own eco-friendly water bottle if you have one.
