Overview: Mentor women residing in a temporary shelter on life-skills through interactive workshops.
Program Mission: PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) is a California-wide nonprofit agency dedicated to ending homelessness for individuals, families, and communities.
Volunteer Project: The “Take STOCK” Workshop is a bimonthly life-skills workshop incorporating mindfulness, discussion, art, and interactive exercises to promote skills needed to overcome homelessness.  The 90-minutes sessions cover a range of topics and are facilitated by a consistent leader, with the assistance of rotating experts who present on individual topics.
As a workshop volunteer, you will offer your expertise in a 75-minute presentation as part of the larger life-skills curriculum.
Requirements:  While no formal training is necessary, volunteers must be knowledgeable and proficient in the subject matter they are going to present on. Please complete this Google form to fill the project leader in about your specific interests, expertise and availability.
