Quick Overview: Translation between English and Vietnamese for medical training documents.
Mission or Broader Program Description: CureCervicalCancer is dedicated to the early detection and prevention of cervical cancer around the globe for women who need it most. Cervical cancer is nearly 100% preventable and more than 500,000 women will be newly diagnosed this year. We currently have 13 active sites in Vientam using the "See and Treat" model to detect and prevent cervical cancer.
Impact: Your translation efforts will directly impact our goals to train and raise awareness in Vietnam. You will translate educational documents including power point presentations and trainee materials. This will ultimately prevent deaths from cervical cancer. Reversely, you will translate the documents in Vietnamese to English as well.
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: Direct translation of medical training documents, informational materials, data collection tools, and guidelines. We may also contact you while we are in Vietnam for translation of new tools/documents.
Requirements: Must have in-depth knowledge of medical terminology in both English and Vietnamese.
