To serve the disenfranchised members of our global family, here in Los Angeles County, by producing holiday-themed community service projects, designed to teach volunteer activism on the grassroots level. These events bring the HOLIDAYS to those who may not otherwise celebrate such~ whether by intention, lack of means or circumstance ~ due to homelessness, loneliness, despair, apathy, disabilities, poverty, lack of family, or perceived lack of deservedness. And, with you by our side … We ARE Making A Difference … One Heart At A Time. Program Description: Volunteers will bring holiday cheer and raise the spirits of our Elderly “Family Members” by presenting a holiday caroling program. Volunteer Role & Responsibilities:Volunteers will sing seasonal songs and yuletide carols, will shake sleigh bells and will interact with senior citizens. Ability to sing is not required ! Please don't sign up if you can't stay the entire time. Time Commitment: 2.5 hours. Requirements: No special skills or experience required except an open heart and playful spirit ! Please feel free to bring sleigh bells or other percussion with you !! Please wear festive and / or "seasonal" clothing, if at all possible.
