Quick Overview: Like to hike, ride your bike or ride your horse? Want to help protect the Preserve, its habitat and its wildlife? Become a Trail Watch Volunteer and make a difference on the trails! Saturday Jan. 25th and Feb. 1st from 9am to 1pm.

Mission or Broader Program Description: The PVP Land Conservancy's mission is to "Preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all." This program, Volunteer Trail Watch, is our neighborhood watch for the trail. Help by reporting issues and speaking to the community out on the trails as it works with your schedule.

Attend this two day training on Saturday Jan. 25th and Feb. 1st from 9am to 1pm. Once complete, volunteers are free to make their own schedule that works best for them.

Impact: The Conservancy protects important wildlife habitat for several threatened and endangered species on the Peninsula. Your work will help protect the land and provide a safer user experience to those on the trails. 

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: As a Volunteer Trail Watch member you can go out hiking, mountain biking our horseback riding on your own schedule on the Preserve. You will then send in an electronic report of what you see along your ride. This helps us and the city keep up with maintanance and safty issue on the trails. 

Requirements: Participants must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a gaurdian. All participants are asked to do a free live scan (background check). Volunteers will be provided with a uniform. Dogs are welcome on trails as long as they are on leash.
