The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all." Program Description: Like to hike, ride your bike or horse? Want to help protect the Preserve, its habitat and wildlife? Become a Trail Watch Volunteer and make a difference on the trails! RSVP: http://pvplc.volunteerhub.com Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities: • Get Certified: Attend two, 4-hour training sessions • Visit the Preserve at least 4 hours a month • Educate users on the rules and proper use of trails • Offer assitance to those who are lost, need water, etc. • Submit reports online of what you see and hear to help the Conservancy and the City of RPV address issues on the Preserve. Time Commitment: 4 hours a month Requirements: 18 years or older, RSVP: http://pvplc.volunteerhub.com Benefits: Volunteers are our eyes and hears out on the Preserve.
