This free community event offers exciting activities including story time, hands-on science, art & learning activities, games, and more! Join us for a reptile exhibit, hair/face painting, raffle prizes, obstacle courses, games and prizes, an infant play area, and other fun activities!
Mission or Broader Program Description: Child Care Resource Center's mission is to cultivate child, family, and community well-being.
Through free community events, CCRC is able to bring fun and educational experieces to children and family to spend time together and learn through play.
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: Opportunity includes set up, break down, book giveaway, fruit and vegetable distribution, hair/face paint, obstacle course, etc.
Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and must sign the waivers and work the entire event (8am-2pm - lunch provided)
* Volunteers under the age of 18 will need to bring and have signed by a parent/guardian a Volunteer Agreement & Release for Minors. The form can be found on L.A. Works website Q&A section.
