The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."

Program Description: Join our orientation for 3rd Grade Naturalist Program Docents!  

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: This training will prepare you to lead 4 classroom sessions and assist in a field trip at one of our Nature Centers! Once trained you can adopt one of our local schools that participates in the program. No experience required, just enthusiasm to help connect 3rd grade students with local natural lands!  

Time Commitment: Orientation: 1.5 hour training on Wednesaday Dec. 4th, 11th and 18th (if you can not make these dates please let us know and we can work with you to arrange another date), throughout the year with your adopted school: 20-30 hours.    

Requirements: We will provide all of our volunteers with a Conservancy polo and name tag! 18 and over only please. Must sign up at: www.pvplc.volunteerhub.com

Benefits: We will provide all of our volunteers with a Conservancy polo and name tag! You will also be invited to enrichment opportunities with other Conservancy volunteers, such as fun and informative workshops and volunteer recognition events. Not to mention the opportunity to share your love of nature with others.
