Website Designer
Quick Overview: We need a website designer to help us update our site to reflect our expansion during the past year - we've grown over 800% and would like our site to better reflect all that we're doing. FoodCycle needs to reach food donors, people looking for food, volunteers and financial supporters. Our site has multiple functions that need to be incorporated.
Impact: FoodCycle rescues excess food that would have gone to waste and directs it to over 130 different organizations feeding hungry people throughout Los Angeles. We're currently providing the equivalent of 50,000 meals a week and keeping 60,000 lbs of donated from going into landfills every week. Food thrown into landfills releases greenhouse gases and contributes to climate change. FoodCycle has a dual mission of ending hunger and helping fight climate change.
