To assist persons trafficked for the purpose of forced labor and slavery-like practices and to work toward ending all instances of such human rights violations. Program Description: Under the direction of the Emergency Response Manager, the Volunteer Hotline Advocate serves as a front line responder to victims of human trafficking who may need services as well as to community members who have questions or wish to report suspected human trafficking. This position fills a critical liaison function between the community and CAST, and as such, must be aligned with the CAST vision and mission of providing outstanding services in a user-friendly fashion. Volunteer Role & Responsibilities: Hotline Services: Answer and provide informed responses to Hotline callers. Information Services: Provide resources and information on CAST services. Time Commitment: 6 month commitment. Requirements: Attend 31 hour training for 31. Background check required.
