Friends of the Los Angeles River (FOLAR)'s mission is to protect and restore the natural and historic heritage of the Los Angeles River. From standing up for inclusive restoration plans to building public awareness through education and outreach, FoLAR is leading the charge to create a swimmable, fishable, boatable, bikeable LA River for our community.

Project: Volunteers will clear and haul trash from the river in trash bags. This is an OUTDOOR activity. Please wear clothes that can get wet, dress for the sun, bring sunblock and a hat. Refreshments will be provided.
