Gen2Gen LA Launch
SCROLL DOWN TO SIGN UP Life itself is more enriching when all generations are brought together and we’re able to learn and grow from each other’s journey. This concept has given life to a national movement from Encore.org, called Generation to Generation, which seeks to bridge all generations – empowering adults to pour into our youngest children, the eventual leaders of tomorrow. Generation to Generation Los Angeles (Gen2Gen LA) is focused on mobilizing adults 50+ to volunteer and mentor children ages 0-8 within Los Angeles County. The campaign is taking root in Los Angeles through a pilot program, which begins April 20th.Join us for an intergenerational celebration in the community of Boyle Heights. Hear from community leaders and sign-up on the spot to impact the lives of young children at locations such as public libraries, early learning centers, and elementary schools. This open house event will feature a special children's performance, snacks and guest speakers. Be a part of Gen2Gen LA in their goals to recruit 150 older, adult volunteers to impact the lives of 1,200 children by June 2017. Questions? Email the Opportunity Leader below.
