Project Leaders
What is a Project Leader?
Project Leaders (PLs for short) are people like you! The BEST of the BEST volunteers who commit to leading small groups of general volunteers during events. PLs do more than just let an event plod along; PLs make sure the activities are engaging, impactful, and (most importantly) fun!
At any event you sign up to participate as a PL, you will generally be asked to assist L.A. Works staff or a nonprofit’s staff by:
-
Helping to set up the event/projects.
-
Leading a small group of volunteers.
-
Keeping those volunteers on task and the project running smoothly, cleanly, and safely.
-
Assisting with the cleanup after the event.
