MLK Day Volunteer Festival - 2026

At the LA Coliseum in 1964, Dr. King passionately and persuasively addressed 15,000 Angelenos on the issues of race relations and human dignity.

Guided by Dr. King's vision of a beloved community, on Monday, January 19, 2026, thousands of Angelenos will come together at the Coliseum once again to meet this urgent moment. As neighbors, volunteers, and a city united in shared purpose at the L.A. Works MLK Day Volunteer Festival, we will transform compassion into action.
From wildfire recovery to community resilience, from uplifting displaced families to standing with immigrant communities under threat of deportation, this day is about service as solidarity.
