Music has always had the power to bring people together. At L.A. Works, we see that same power in service.L.A. Works, the sponsor ("Sponsor") of the Daisy Chain Reaction Giveaway (the "Promotion"), is rewarding volunteers who complete eligible Daisy Chain Reaction volunteer opportunities with the chance to win two (2) GA tickets to Daisy Chain Fields 2026. If the L.A. Works community collectively completes 1,000 verified volunteer hours during the Promotion Period (July 22, 2026 at 7:00 AM PST and August 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM PST), eligible volunteers will receive one (1) entry into the random drawing for each verified hour of service completed at participating Daisy Chain Reaction volunteer opportunities.

To be eligible, you must:●      Be at least 18 years of age at the time of winning;●      Have an active L.A. Works account in good standing;●      Opt in to the giveaway when registering for an eligible Daisy Chain Reaction volunteer opportunity; and●      Be a resident of the US. Employees and members of the L.A. Works Board of Directors are not eligible to win. Family members of employees or Board members may participate if they independently meet all other eligibility requirements.

You must select the option to opt in to the giveaway at the time you register for an eligible Daisy Chain Reaction volunteer opportunity. Entries cannot be added retroactively for participants who do not opt in during registration.You will be asked if you want to "opt in" as one of the steps to sign up to volunteer for the eligible opportunities. The "opt in" question is not during the time you are creating an account with L.A. Works.

Each verified volunteer hour earns one (1) entry into the random drawing. There is no maximum number of entries you can earn.

Think of it like a community fundraiser, but instead of raising dollars, we're raising volunteer hours together. The goal is to show how small acts of kindness can add up to create meaningful change. Every volunteer hour makes a difference, and together those individual efforts become a powerful collective impact."Collective" means everyone's verified volunteer hours are added together toward one shared goal. If you volunteer for 3 hours and another person volunteers for 2 hours, that's 5 collective volunteer hours.As volunteers complete their shifts, the hours continue to grow. Once the community reaches 1,000 collective volunteer hours, the giveaway of 125 pairs of Daisy Chain tickets will be unlocked.

One hundred twenty-five (125) prizes will be awarded, each consisting of two (2) 1-Day General Admission wristbands to Daisy Chain Fields 2026, taking place at Great Park on August 29, 2026 (“Festival”). Approximate Retail Value (ARV) is $500 per prize ($250 per ticket).

Yes. An active L.A. Works account is required to register for volunteer opportunities, track verified volunteer hours, and participate in the giveaway. Signing up for an L.A. Works account is free and easy. By creating an account, you will be joining SoCal's growing volunteer movement!

Eligible opportunities will be clearly identified on the dedicated Daisy Chain Reaction landing page: https://www.laworks.com/daisy-chain-reaction. Only hours completed and verified between July 22, 2026 at 7:00 AM PST and August 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM PST will earn entries.

No. Volunteer hours must be verified through the L.A. Works volunteer management system by an L.A. Works staff member or the nonprofit host before they count toward giveaway entries. Hours completed without an active L.A. Works account, or without opting in at registration, are not eligible for entry.

Participants who no-show for more than one scheduled Daisy Chain Reaction volunteer opportunity during the promotion period will be disqualified from the giveaway and removed from eligibility for future Daisy Chain Reaction volunteer opportunities.

No. Entries cannot be added retroactively if a participant does not opt into the giveaway during registration.

Yes. Limit of one (1) prize per person for the duration of the promotion.

L.A. Works will conduct the random drawing within five (5) days after August 20, 2026. L.A. Works is responsible for drawing, notifying, and confirming winners. Once confirmed, L.A. Works will provide winners' first name, last name, and email address to C3 in a single consolidated list for prize fulfillment via will call.

Selected winners must respond and complete any required prize acceptance steps within 48 hours. If a selected winner is ineligible, declines the prize, or does not respond within the required timeframe, L.A. Works will select an alternate winner. Winners have 48 hours to respond before an alternate is drawn.Prize delivery method is at sole discretion of Live Nation which will be either sent to winner by mail, email, mobile ticketing or placed at venue Will Call the day of Festival under the winner’s name. Winner must be present to pick up wristbands, and a valid photo ID will be required if wristbands are placed at Will Call.

By accepting a prize, winners consent to L.A. Works and C3 announcing their names for promotional purposes.

L.A. Works has spent 35 years building relationships with hundreds of nonprofit organizations throughout Los Angeles County, so we were able to launch the campaign with a strong selection of opportunities across the region. Absolutely! Many of the volunteer opportunities featured in the Daisy Chain Reaction campaign welcome volunteers under 18. While only volunteers 18 years of age or older are eligible to enter the ticket giveaway (per the festival's official promotion rules), we absolutely encourage younger volunteers to make a difference in their communities. Bring a parent, guardian, or another adult (18+) to volunteer alongside you—they'll be eligible to enter the drawing while you volunteer together!

No problem! We'll round your verified volunteer time up to the nearest whole hour when calculating your entries. For example, if you volunteer for 1.5 hours, you'll receive 2 entries. Even if your shift is 1 hour and 15 minutes, you'll still earn 2 entries. Every verified hour (rounded up) counts as one entry into the drawing.

Volunteer hours are not verified immediately after your shift. To allow our nonprofit partners and volunteer leaders time to confirm attendance, please allow up to 48 business hours for your hours to be verified. Once your time has been verified, you can log in to your L.A. Works account to view and download your volunteer history. Your giveaway entries will be calculated based on your verified volunteer hours.

To complete your registration, click Sign Up for the volunteer opportunity and shift you'd like to attend. During the registration process, you'll be asked if you'd like to opt in to the giveaway. If you're eligible, be sure to select Yes. (If you're not eligible, please do not opt in.) The final step is to click the Submit button at the bottom of the opt-in screen (see below for what the second screen looks like). Your registration isn't complete until you click Submit. Once you're registered, you'll receive a confirmation email with the volunteer location, address, and any additional details you'll need for your shift. Please don't just show up without registering. Volunteers who try to attend without completing the registration process cannot be added to the giveaway retroactively or receive giveaway entries for that volunteer opportunity.

Yes. Everyone who plans to volunteer must register for the volunteer opportunity, regardless of whether they're eligible for the giveaway. During registration, only eligible participants should opt in to the promotion. If your child isn't eligible, simply complete their volunteer registration but do not opt them in to the giveaway. This helps our nonprofit partners know who to expect and ensures everyone is properly registered for the volunteer activity.
