9/11 Day of Service

In the challenging days following the September 11 attacks, our community rallied together, showing strength, empathy and unity in the face of an unimaginable crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic draws similarities to that time, reminding us that through the most challenging moments, we will continue to help one another and unite our community through service and generosity of spirit.

On Sunday, September 11, more than 1,000 volunteers from the Los Angeles community will help pack at least 200,000 healthy, non-perishable meals. To help address the growing food crisis, all the meals will be donated to and distributed by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to individuals and families who are food insecure.
